Who is reality TV star Holly Hagan - and why is she worth a whopping £400,000?

She's familiar to millions thanks to MTV's Geordie Shore.

And now, with a break-out role on E4's Five-Star Hotel, Holly Hagan 's star continues to ascend.

Joining Spencer Matthews , Joey Essex, Lydia Bright and Ashley Cain, she's destined to win a whole new army of fans.

But who is she? And why is she famous? Here - from humble beginnings to a £400,000 net worth - we detail everything you need to know about the reality TV star.

Who is Holly Hagan and why is she famous?

Holly was born on 7 July in 1992, making her 25-years-old.

She first grew up in Grove Hill, a housing estate in Middlesbrough, then relocated to Thornaby-on-Tees when she was a toddler.

She wasn't particularly academic at school, but harboured a desire to become a glamour model.

This gave way to reality when she got jobs in a Santander call centre, then HM Revenue & Customs.

But, a chance encounter led to the Geordie Shore auditions in 2011 and, before long, she was picked for the show and her life was changed forever.

How badly was she behaved?

The big-boobed former redhead made a splash on her first night in the Geordie Shore house by showing off her best (and biggest) assets in the hot tub.

Problem was, she had a boyfriend at the time, and he wasn't best pleased when he found out.

They split up, and wild Holly tried her best to fit in with the other girls.

The Middlesbrough lass had a tough time at first, and was left in tears on a number of occasions because she felt left out of the group.

But she was ultimately accepted and formed a friendship with co-stars Charlotte Crosby and Marnie Simpson .

The 25-year-old has become famous for her antics on and off-screen

What's the deal with her love life?

Holly, 24, has had a few dalliances with her cast mates, but things got very serious between her and Kyle Christie, who joined the show in series eight.

But, as further proof of how difficult it is to have a relationship in the house, things got tough for Holly and Kyle. So much so, that their cast mates sat them down in series 11, when they were no longer together, and said one of them had to go, admitting they couldn't handle the tension.

Kyle left and Holly was in bits.

He returned to the show for last year's Big Birthday Battle, and they tried to be friends, but couldn't fight their feelings for one another. They recently appeared together on Just Tattoo Of Us.

She's currently single.

She's undergone a serious transformation since 2011

What else is she known for?

Viewers can't help but notice that Holly has undergone quite a transformation since the start of Geordie Shore in 2011.

After two years on telly the 22-year-old dyed her hair a deep red colour and slimmed down from a size 16 to a size 10.

She's since had two boob jobs and a boob lift, and switched to a more natural blonde look.

And of course, who can forget that famous pout, courtesy of lip fillers.

How has she racked-up a £400,000 fortune?

She did thirteen seasons of Geordie Shore, which certainly would've given her some pocket money, but she also bolstered her bank balance by doing sexy magazine shoots.

Specifically, she posed for a number of titles, including Nuts, FHM and Loaded.

Proving she's not just a bimbo, she also became an author with the release of her very own tome: Not quite a Geordie book.

In 2014 she had a stab at being a pop star, but the resulting track - a cover of Kelis' Milkshake - failed to set the charts alight.

Instead, she returned to TV and took part in a number of shows, including 100% Hotter, Celebrity Storage Hunters and MTV's Car Crash Couples.
